At the end of the class period, the students can:

2. Explain the nature and process of communication
3. Differentiate the various models of communication from one another.
4. Distinguish the unique features of one communication process from the
other.
5. Explain why there are breakdowns in communication.
6. Enumerate various strategies to avoid communication breakdown.
7. Demonstrate sensitivity toward others in various communication
situations.
