The value of film to learn and teach.

Using film in the classroom is not simple game, not for entertainment, not
even as a more didactic instrument. The film itself has the value of being
human dramas transmitter itself. Since its inception, the stories that cinema
has affected generations of people through their arguments, their content,
their images and ideas. Cinema is popular culture, art and entertainment.
Frames and film topics can and should be brought to the classroom as a
reflective element and thus guiding behavior. In this article some guidelines
for using film in the classroom and their need and importance is based on
the orientation function. It affects the value of learning from others, the
importance of film analysis, in the introduction to the major issues is the film
and its importance in the acquisition of sensitivity to expressive values,
cognitive and creative.

What values does the current cinema

These questions made me a few months ago in a televised debate. It is
difficult to answer them, because to understand the impact that actually

film is also inexhaustible source of stories and themes, creativity and


cultural aesthetics.
The value of creativity
The number, variety and quality of film images, the abundance of content and
themes, the great variation in stimuli cause brimming with opportunities to
increase creativity causing the association almost immediately ideas,
reflections, memory and data storage , enabling to increase the cognitive
baggage and therefore to relate and create new ways of thinking.
