Interview Guidelines
1. Things to prepare before the Interview
Make sure, you have contacted your future interviewee and make an
appointment to do the Global Citizen Interview for departing this
Winter.
Please, conduct the Interview at silent places. Such as; Perpus FE,
Perpusat, or near LC.
Since you are here representing AIESEC, please wear something
decent/semi formal. For example: wear shirt with collar/polo, long
jeans is allowed but not the ripped one, shoes. You are not allowed to
use; t-shirt, short pants or jeans, and flip-flops.
Please arrive 15 minutes before (or at least on-time) the Interview
starts, be professional!
2. Things to do before the Interview
Welcoming them for joining our Global Citizen Programmes Interview
Session.
Introduction (Ice breaking, make them feel comfortable)
Explaining the rules
o No Handphone
o Have to use English (only use Bahasa if theyre stuck, but not
recommended)
o Focus in every question
o Please keep in mind to keep your answers short, no more than 3
minutes per question but covers your main idea and relevant to
the question
3. Things to do during the Interview
SIT UP: dont lie on wall, always sit up and lean to your applicant to
show that you are interested in the topic.
EYE CONTACT: Dont look at your laptop whole the time. Try to pay
attention at what your applicants saying in the eye, try to emphasize
and clarify the main point of their answers.
LISTEN UP: Stay focus and listen to whats your applicant answer. Try
not to ask way to much questions, just because you dont hear it clear.
Always pay attention at your applicants body gesture. (you can also
read tti.ppt)
TIME UP: Close your Interview on-time!
4. Things to do after the Interview
Tell the Interview is done, try to make them feel less pressured
Clarify about what is Global Citizen Programme
ASK their feedback of your performance/comments toward the
Interview session
