Dear Mr. Tramel
Im writing to you today regarding the nursing job vacancy you posted on USAA jobs. I am
confident that my education and skill-set, would contribute greatly to you team.
I currently have a BS in nursing and ten years of experience as an Air Force Medical Technician.
During that time, I developed the skills to deliver world class health care and service towards
patients. I have been trained in monitoring patients, updating information on vital signs and
documents to effectively monitor their health. While working at Lackland Air Force Base in San
Antonio Texas, I was tasked with assessing newborns, ordering and obtaining diagnostic tests. As a
Preceptorship Nurse at Lakeland Regional Medical Center, I focused on the adult population in
their step down intensive care unit. The skills that were developed and honed during my time there
would most definitely ensure that I would be of great value to your unit.
My resume provides a detailed snapshot of my capabilities as a nurse as well as my previous
experience as a military medic. I have been recognized for my dedication, resilience and
persistence as leader. While at Bolling AFB, I was responsible for the Medical Groups
Basic/Advanced Life Support program for the Medical Group in which I was the program
administrator. I was able to not only able to teach these programs, I am able to provide guidance
for those in need of certification in other areas. While at Lakeland, I was able to successfully
provide life support to several patients and many other essential interventions. Aside from this, I
possess the particular skills it takes to be an dedicated and successful addition to your team.
I would appreciate the opportunity to interview with you. Please accept the attached resume.

Sincerely,
Aikeya Conner
