How To Post To The Discussion Board

1. Go to http://www.bu.edu/students
2. Click Black Board in the black box
3. Login with your student username and password
4. Once on Blackboard home page, click, for example, Introduction to American
Management, Culture and Institutions Fall 2015.
5. Select Settings (top right corner, revealed by clicking full name, go to Personal
Information, and select Personalize My Settings. Use Custom Avatar Image to
upload a photo from your computer.
6. To contribute to Discussions, click on the left side of the webpage. Click the
Forum for that week.
7. Click Create Thread (The assigned task is listed under Forum Description).
8. Under Message, complete the assignment.
9. Under Attachments you can attach pictures by selecting Browse Computer.
10. Once you have completed the assignment, click Submit.
Adding a Profile Picture/Custom avatar image:
1. To configure first log into Blackboard Learn
2. Select 'Settings' (top right corner, revealed by clicking full name) >
Personal Information, then 'Personalize My Settings'
3. Select Use custom avatar image.
4. Browse your computer for the image and upload.
