Nativity DVD

This may be an option if you wish to
enjoy the performance without the
bother of filming. Any photographs
or videos taken during our
performances must be for family
viewing only and not distributed
via social media etc. This is for
safeguarding reasons.

school?

Reception children
Reception reading books
will only be changed once
a week from now on but
the children will be given
two sets of books.
Please see the school
blog for further details.

Socrates

Thank you.

Winter
As the weather gets colder, please take care on the footpaths around
school as they may be slippery despite our best efforts to put salt on
these areas. The KS1 Play Area is particularly slippery in the mornings and
you are advised not to let your child play in this area when there is ice on
the ground.
We have never yet closed because of bad weather, but if this should be
the case we will contact you by text message. If you are delayed by bad
weather please take your time as we will probably extend registration time.
We would rather you arrived in one piece than rush and have an accident!

Clubs and Visits

Our school provides a wide range of extra-curricular activities in school time, at lunchtimes and after
school. For example, visits to Old Trafford, the Sing Together Concert in February, brass band practices,
sports clubs, Christmas concerts and many others. The majority of these are provided free of charge and
many led by members of staff. Im sure you would like me to thank all those members of staff who run
clubs and offer visits to enhance our pupils experience of school. Thank you for insisting that your
child(ren) demonstrate commitment to these activities through full attendance.
