Title of Artifact: Observation - Setting
Standard: Standard 6: Learning Environment -Teachers shall understand individual and
group motivation and behavior and shall create a supportive, safe and respectful learning
environment that encourages positive social interaction, active engagement in learning
and self-motivation.
I am placing my observation within Standard 6 - Learning Environment as evidence of
continued mastery. This artifact promotes how a well planned classroom setting can be a
place that creates a supportive, safe and respectful learning environment for students
(Department of Education, 2014).
