Does Bae Respect Your Boundaries?
The event Does Bae Respect Your Boundaries was a given outline of the difference
between healthy and unhealthy relationships are. Each point given tied into the lessons we
learned in our college success class. Habit 4 and Habit 5 were Think Win-Win and Seek First
to understand than to be understood. During this very interactive event my peers and I and some
of the counselors on campus in Murphy hall went over some scenarios. During this exercise
everyone had got a good idea on why they should be proactive in situations to have a healthy
relationship with everyone in their lives.
Think Win-Win and to seek to understand than to be understood was encouraged during
our exercise so make us realise that during certain healthy or unhealthy situations with our
baes we still should listen to what the other has to say and keep it in mind before we decide to
react inappropriately. All in all this was also a great event because we got to talk about what
wed do in certain situations and why; some people disagreed and some agreed. The counselors
were there to help guide us in what would be the best way to take on certain scenarios.
