1. Brown, N. (2014). The Evolution of the Office: How Modern Offices Have
Evolved And What to Expect in the Future - Social Media Week.
Retrieved November 08, 2016, from
https://socialmediaweek.org/blog/2014/11/evolution-office-modernoffices-evolved-expect-future/
Brown discuses the evolution of the office and how it has changed both for
good and bad reasons. She also discusses how the office will potentially be
used in the future. This source is credible due to the relevance to our topic
and it is written by a single author. I wanted to include this opinion article to
make my research to
evaluate different thoughts and opinions so when I write the final paper I
have a well rounded opinion.
2. Greer, T. W. , Payne, S. C. (2014). Overcoming telework challenges:

Greer and Payne discuss and show the types of challenges that
telecommuters bosses will have to face when working directly with
telecommuters. They also look at strategies on how to work with these
employess and how to manage them. This source is credible because its a
journal study and the authors are professors at universities.
3. Jermyn, D. (2012). The downside of working from home. Retrieved November 08, 2016,
from http://www.theglobeandmail.com/report-on-business/small-business/sbmanaging/the-downside-of-working-from-home/article595067/
This article talks about the negative sides of working from home and how they negatively affect
the company. I chose this article because I wanted a negative opinion on our topic. This will give
me a well rounded mind when writing my final paper.

4. Jones, J. M. (2015). In U.S., Telecommuting for Work Climbs to 37%. Retrieved

November 08, 2016, from http://www.gallup.com/poll/184649/telecommuting-workclimbs.aspx
Jones talks about the rise of telework and its productivity in both statistics eyes and Americas
eyes. Its seen that they are directly correlated. I chose this article because it is written based on
studies and evidence. The studies come from both statistics and opinions of the American people.
5. Mahler, J. , (2012) The Telework Divide: Managerial and Personnel Challenges of
Telework. Review of Public Personnel Administration, 32(4), Pages 408- 418.
This Journal is a well balanced journal in that it talks about both the pros and cons of telework
from a non-biased point of view. Although it talks about the advantages of telework it talks about
the affects it has on the employees in the office as well as the company as a whole.
