Dear Sheikh,

Reference to your letter ref.: PLQ/Hyper/SWA/PM/0393/2014 dated 27th February 2014;

(Copy attached). We are unable to process the Interim Payment no. 25 due to the following
reason;

Deduction of Penalty for Delays: M/S Power Line Engineering Delayed by 289 Days
(as of 31st January 2014) and penalty shall be applied for QR 15,000 per Day (As per
the Clause 10.2 of the Contract Agreement)
15% of Bank Loan Recovery from progress month of November 2013, as agree with
the Owner.

Based up on the above mentioned reason, a negative value of payment has resulted (See
attached assessment)
