Tablature Project
Description: For this project we will be exploring the use of tablature and its
benefits as well as its deposits. Students will be going to the computer lab where
we will be working towards finding a song the students wish to learn. This can be
done as duos where students play the chords behind the tab for one another or
done as a solo project if desired. Students will perform live or be prepared to
have their video shown in class for peer assessment. The choice of song or
section of song is yours as long as it is written with Tablature. Choose something
you love or something you have always wanted to learn!

A steady and consistent rhythm throughout the performance.
Clear and resonant notes. (No muted or muffles strings except where
appropriate)
Smooth transitions between chords/Notes while strumming or picking.
Mumbling or humming at least along with the vocal part of the song. (This
allows me to ensure that you are changing the chords at the correct places!
