PHL 2401 H1 Persons, Minds and Bodies (Summer 2015):

This is a very hard course to wrap your head around, the readings are exceedingly tough and both
the professors provided, in lecture, handouts that were incredibly helpful.
Sean generated an exceptionally large amount of enthusiasm for matters of consciousness and
personal identity. It is clear both professors enjoy what they do and were eager to help students get
some very in depth philosophy.
Both instructors provided a welcoming, non-judgemental atmosphere in which everyone felt
comfortable to contribute and ask questions. Every question presented in class was taken seriously.
The style of instruction was also clear.
There were regular TA hours and professor hours. Both Sean, Luke, and Aaron would regularly stay
late after class to discuss the topics further. Really key for me personally as office hours were only
during work hours for me!
Both instructors held regular office hours and were very helpful and courteous. They also replied to
my emails very promptly and gave me lots of feedback.
