Abstract
The experiment is about using statistical analysis by tossing 10 pieces
of 1 peso coins for 100 times. A comparison between the statistical and
theoretical analysis was made and based on the computed percentage error,
there was a small percentage of error between the statistical analysis and
the theoretical analysis.

I. Introduction
In this experiment both a statistical analysis and a theoretical analysis
was conducted. In order to know the statistical analysis for the number of
head that can occur when 10 coins are tossed, each member of the group
was tasked to toss 10 coins for 20 times and record the results of each toss.
With 5 members tossing the coins for 20 times, 100 times of tossing was
completed.
The results that were gathered was combined and was used to
compute for the mean and the variance of the said experiment. A theoretical
analysis was also conducted in order to know the percentage error between
the statistical analysis and the theoretical analysis.

By having both the statistical and the theoretical analysis, the

percentage error was computed and gave the result of 5.2 percent for the
mean and 10.7 percent for the variance.

II. Methodology
For the first part of the experiment, 5 members of the group each have
10 pieces of 1 peso coins and tossed the coins 20 times in order to complete
100 times of tossing the coins. Each member records the number of heads
among the 10 coins. After tossing the coins for 20 times, the results that
have been gathered by each member during the tossing of the coins were
combined.
A theoretical analysis was also needed to determine the percentage
error between the statistical analysis conducted by the members and the
theoretical analysis that was computed.
