According to Deal and Kennedy (1982), culture is simply the way we do things around
here in the business oft-quoted view. The effectiveness of the cultural integration of
employees within the corporate culture can be measure by values, rituals and language.
I.

Values
Organizations values guide the employees the way they do their job. With a simple
statement, make us who we are employees at the hotel find ways to make it putting people first, pursuing excellence, embracing change, acting with integrity and
serving our world. As organizations manager, I have to create an environment that
encourages the employee to embrace the culture and the values as they do their job.

II.

Rituals
Rituals in organization can allow the employees to feel appreciated, offer a more
enjoyable workplace experience and bring attention to invidual who complete special
accomplishment for the company. Hotel can held awards ceremonies annually as a rite
to entice higher performance goals from employees. Award ceremonies bestow
recognition on the winners, while showing the other employees what they can gain by
reaching the same goals. Ceremonies may be thought of as celebrations of
organizational culture, or collective acts of cultural worship that remind and reinforce
cultural values (Brown, 1995, p17). Rewards for award winners can be bonus cash
and travel packages. The hotel needs to provide the survey about employees to
customer to examine their achievement.

III.

Language
Many organizations and units within them use language as a way to identify and unit
members as a culture, attest to their acceptance of it and help preserve it. The types of
language use by employees are to address each other to refer to customers and clients
can reflect values which impact on strategy and performance. The management have
to hire a housing supervisor for the employee dormitory. This man represented
something of a father figure to the employee but one whom they could also
confer with, and discuss various issues or problems.
