 The purpose of this presentation is to assess the applicability of several
leadership topics, such as staff motivation, ethics, negotiation, creativity, and
emotional intelligence,
 Represents significance of leadership for improving customer experience,
employee engagement, operational efficiency and so on,
 Aims to evaluate their application in future career endeavors as a hospitality
leader,
 Presentation includes discussion on each leadership, personal reflections, and
a conclusion summarizing key takeaways.

 Supported by transformational leadership theory,
 Motivates its group members to bring significant improvements by putting
organization need ahead of their personal interests (DuBrin, 2017),
 (Equity Theory of Motivation: Focuses on two sides: the input and the outcome
employee compares his or her job’s inputs with an outcomes ratio (Al-Zawahreh,
2012),
 Ensure fairness and avoid feelings of inequity among hospitality staff members,

Emotional Intelligence

 EQ is the study of feelings that includes the ideas od self awareness, self-control
and empathy says (Gloleman, 2015)
 Example of how EQ can enhance leadership effectiveness in hospitality:
Hotel manager remaining calm while guest becomes agitated, and actively
listening to guests concern, empathize guest emotion and solve the problem
