the list
1. Enter the Asset Class
2. Enter the Company Code

3. Number of similar assets:It enables you to create


multiple similar assets in one
master transaction

4. Reference is used to
create a new asset from an
already created asset.

For this Example, we use


Asset Class 6000

Press Enter to go to the


Master Data

In the Asset Master Data:


1. The Asset number will be
internally determined by the
system
2. Enter the description of the
asset
3. Enter the capitalized date:For upload of Asset Master
Data in the system we need
it as 01.01.2017

Then go to Time Dependent

Tab:1. Enter the respective Cost


Centre
2. Enter the relevant Plant
3. If a machinery is used for
multiple shifts, enter this
field.

Then go to Allocations Tab

Evaluation groups serve to


classify fixed assets in any
way you need

Then go to the Origin Tab


1. Enter the Vendor number
2. Enter the name of the
Vendor
3. Enter the name of the
manufacturer of the product.
4. If the asset is purchased
new, tick the box.
5. If the asset was secondhand when it was acquired,
tick the box.

6. Enter the Country of Origin


for the Asset
7. Enter the Original date of
acquisition of the asset.
8. Enter the date of
capitalization of the asset.
9. Enter the original acquisition
Year
10. Enter the original value of
the asset.

Then go to Depreciation
Areas:
1. Book Depreciation
calculates & posts
depreciation as per the
Company Law, i.e, on the
basis of Useful life.
2. Tax Depreciation only
calculates & does not post
depreciation as per the
Income Tax Act.

3. The Calculation of each


tax is done on the basis of
Depreciation Key.
For Book
Depreciation, the
depreciation keyZLCU.
For Tax
Depreciation, select
the respective code
between Z100 to
ZL60.
4. Enter the Useful Life in
Years.
5. Enter the Useful Life in
Months.

Double click on any


Depreciation Areas and this
screen opens:

1. Enter the Ordinary


Depeciation Start Date:
For upload of Asset master
data the date is 01.01.2017.
2. If multiple shift factor is
used, the system multiplies
the variable depreciation
portion by the multiple shift
factor.
3. Enter the scrap value, if any.

Once all the data is filled,


and the master is ready.
Click on SAVE.

At the bottom of the screen,


the asset number is
displayed.
