Using Value to Create Form

Form
One of the seven elements
of art. A form is a
three-dimensional figure
(i.e.: sphere, cube, cylinder,
cone, etc.), as opposed to a
shape, which is
two-dimensional, or flat.

One of the Seven Elements of Art. Value is the lightness or darkness of a color.

Monochromatic
In A Monochromatic painting,
You Can Only Use One Color,
Plus White and Black.

Complementary
Pairs of colors which, when
combined, a grayscale color like
white or black. They are always
across from each other on the color
wheel.

Complementary
In A Complementary Color painting,
also called Inter Complementary Color,
painting, You Can Only Use One Pair
of Complementary Color, Plus White
and Black.
