BASKETBALL

1. The participants must be bona fide students of Batangas State University currently enrolled in the
BS Accountancy or BS Accounting Management Program.
2. The participants must be duly registered members of the Junior Philippine Institute of
Accountants or Young Accounting Managers Society.
3. Exemptions to rule number 1 and 2 shall be as follows:
a. Due to the limited number of male students of the 5 th year level, alumni of Batangas State
University are allowed to be part of the team composition provided they have graduated
one-two years ago. (S.Y 2014 2016)
b. Male faculty members of CABEIHM shall be allowed to be part of the team.
4. Each team shall be composed of five members who shall play inside the court. Failure for a team
to have an entry for this category will be subject to a 50 point-deduction in the overall score of
the team for the Accountancy Day.
5. The rules provided by the FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, shall govern the game.
Experienced referees, with no existing conflicts of interest from the members of each team, shall
facilitate the game. The decisions of the referees are final and irrevocable.
6. The game format shall follow the round-robin sequence. It is as follows:

7. If the team is not present at the venue for 15 minutes once the organizers call for the start of the
game, the team shall automatically be considered in default and shall automatically make his
opponent the winner of their game.
8. The participants agree that by joining the contest, they submit themselves to the decision of the
judges and the organizers of the event.
9. Winners shall be the Champion, 1st runner up and 2nd runner up. They will receive Certificates
of Recognition , medals and will earn corresponding points for their respective teams. The Most
Valuable Player and Mythical Five shall also be recognized.

VOLLEYBALL
1. The participants must be bona fide students of Batangas State University currently enrolled in the

3. Each team shall be composed of six members who shall play inside the court. Failure for a team
