3. Soft pulp: Soft pulp is found inside the dentine. The blood supply to tooth and the
nerves are found in the pulp.
4. Jaw bone: It is found below the soft pulp. The nerves go through holes in the tooth
into the jawbone.
5. Crown: The portion of the tooth above the jaw is called the crown.
6. Root: The portion inside the jawbone is called the root. The root is fixed to the gum.
7. Plaque: A thin sticky film on the teeth is called plaque.
8. Tartar: Plaque if not cleaned properly changes into hard yellow called tartar.
9. Cavity: A hole formed inside the tooth by germs is called cavity.
