Celebration for three days.

The Ayacucho carnival has been declared part of the countrys cultural heritage
by Perus National Institute of Culture because of its originality and vivid
representation of Andean creativity.
A three-day festival that features parades of carnival groups with typical outfits,
local musicians and the sampling of local food, such as the traditional puchero
and chicha de jora.
Ayacuchano Carnival is a traditional festival celebrated for three consecutive
days during the month of February in the department of Ayacucho, located
in the southern highlands of Peru.
Ayacucho Carnival falls 40 days before Easter, a holiday . The streets are
usually quiet, but today they're full of people as the three day.
Before celebration Carnival, most people group practice a lot to dance and sing.
In their groups the women sing their voices are loud and the men playing guitar,
drums and Quena.
During the celebration people diverse express their to think for the politics and
their authorities.
The celebration begins when the festival carriages enter, including arrives "o
Carnavaln" (Child Carnavaln), local adaptation of "King Momo", a fictional
character who chairs the carnival. Neighborhoods, associations, institutions and
families, proud walk the streets and squares, acting, dancing or singing happy
tunes composed for the occasion. During his tenure creative songs are heard in
Quechua, accompanied with music of flutes, charango, mandolin, bells,
whistles, and tinyas.
A team called COMPARSA, compete in contest to win first prize for best dance
or musical performance.
First day celebration a team and many people gather together in main square.
The team called Comparsas, They people are singing and dancing enjoying the
celebration. The main celebrity named O CARNVALON is very big doll.

The big doll, represent someone autority, the people create big doll,for taunt
their government.
The women wear tradicional clothes for example They wear white blouse
square neck, and a usually white skirt, made of velvet or silk, with wide
waistband and relatively wide volume. The length of this piece may extend to
the ankles (for the most conservative) or to just below the knees. The skirt can
never be shorter.
A blanket or lliclla made of ram or alpaca wool. In bright colors (fuchsia, orange,
lime green, electric blue).
A beautiful white hat,
A silk scarf takes bright color tied around the waist as a belt.
They use high heels made in black leather.
The men wear long Poncho, wear White hat and sunglasses.
The party continues until the Tuesday.
Finally the event called "Ash Wednesday", when the "no Carnavaln" hear the
reading of his will and "dies" with the promise to revive next year.
After the party, immediately starts seclusion period, until Easter.
