Actual Capstone
Presentation

Thursday, March 23

We are going to organise a 50 minute program to share our research on sustainable

development in Latin America with students seeking extra credit for classes such as World
Geography, Human Geography, Economics, and Government (this is a non-exhaustive list open
to change). We have to develop a promotional strategy, a digital component, a game, a
schedule, and a script for our presentation. For our interactive component, we want to design a
small game after each section of the presentation for our attendees that to teach them about the
inequality in Latin America. Although the four of us have a few ideas for this game, we have yet
to develop a final game plan. We would like for our game to require physical involvement more
dynamic than that required by a quiz-bowl style game such as jeopardy. We will entertain any
questions that our attendees may have at the end of our program.
Fliers will be easy to create and print. All four of us are skilled at editing, though only
Archit and Madison will create the flyers. They can be printed for relatively cheap at FedEx. Sue
and I will appear on CTV to promote the event. Seeing as CTV is mainly put on by
underclassmen teachers (just from experience), it will allow us to attract more members than
simply students from the classes we listed above -- those are juniors and seniors. In order to
direct CTV messages towards juniors and seniors, we could ask junior/senior teachers to show
CTV during that particular week.
