Evaluation for my Strategic Human Resource Management Subject

For me, strategic human resource management is an approach to managing human

resources that supports long-term business goals and outcomes with a strategic framework. This
subject really helped me to know and explore many things in the HR world. Through the
activities that our professor had given to us, we have gathered many learnings not just about in
theoretical aspects of HR but also coping up in the real world. Through assigning us to make a
term paper, we made ourselves confident to have conversations to employees as well as with the
department heads. We observed the problem in the company that they are currently facing. Those
are quiet serious things but I know that that was just few of the many ways that cause the HR
people to be stressed. The term paper also teach us to share opinions, to be open with others
suggestions when we were making an action plan to the certain problems of the company. Our
class was also trained to report infront of our classmates. To never feel shy and wear our best
outfit when talking in front. What is it? Of course, SELF CONFIDENCE. Mam Mhel, taught us
never be afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are always natural. As long as you try your best each
day to improve yourself, its ok. Each day, you should be a better you.
All of the learnings wont be possible without this wonderful professor. Before ending
this, I want to express my deep gratitude to Dr. Melinda De Guzman who always aim to unleash
our potential to acquire knowledge through activities that she had assigned for us to grasp
wisdom and lessons that we may utilize when we come in the real competitive world outside the
university, who made us realize and showed us our self-worth, who never ceases to help us and
to share things that will greatly impact us as young ones, who taught us to explore and be curious
in our environment, who stand on us as our mother, educator, a friend. Thanks and God bless you
