note the following details :

SCHOOL TIMINGS
MONTESSORI SECTION : 9:00am till 11:00am from 4 April to 9th April16.
9:00am to 12:00pm from 11th April 2016 onwards for entire year
FOR CLASSES I TO XII : 8:00am to 2:00pm with reporting time 7:45am.

PICK AND DROP & ROUTE VERIFICATION

For first two days, new parents must drop the Montessori Students by 8:45am and must escort the child
in the school bus at 11:00am, in case the child is availing bus facility.
Parents not availing the bus facility must drop the students by 8:45 am and come to pick their wards
by 11:00 am till 9th April 2016. 11th April onwards parents must collect their children from the
Walkers Gate No.:2 by 12:00 pm.
For classes I onwards, new parents must drop the child for first two days at 7:45am and must follow the
childs school bus for the route verification at the departure time of 2:00pm.

SCHOOL TRANSPORT:

Parents are requested to avail only School owned Transport for the safety of the children.
Application for the same must be obtained from the School Office.
School bus is a facility provided for the convenience of students. No requests for changes /
alterations in bus routes or stops will be entertained ordinarily. Parents/Guardian ID card issued by
the School authority must be shown to the School Security/ Bus Section Staff /School Reception
whenever they come the pick the Child from School or at the time of PTM.
No child will be allowed to return home by a different route if a letter to this effect is not sent by the
parent in advance subject to permission by the Principal.
To ensure complete safety of the child he/she must not be left unescorted at the bus stop and must
be picked up from the bus stop by an authorized person. Escorts are advised to be at the respective
stops at least 5 minutes before time. In case there is no escort at the bus stop, the child will be
brought back to school to avoid any mishap. In such a case the parents will have to make their own
arrangements to pick up the child from school.
In case of any change in address or mode of transport of the child, parents are requested to intimate
the class teachers &office in writing.

PARENTS ICARD

Parents are advised not to give any kind of gifts / cash or tempt the crew of the bus in order to
extract an obligation.
Any complaints against a particular route or crew of bus must be submitted in writing to the school
office.
If a child is discontinuing the School bus facility, written application must be submitted at the School
Reception at least one month in advance. No child will be allowed to avail the school bus facility
without paying the transport fee.
The transport facility will be withdrawn in case the parent fails to deposit the transport fee in time.

Parents must carry their PARENT ICARDS, issued by the school authority, while your visit to the
school.(template attached)
The children will be handed over to the parent /guardian carrying their I.D. card. In case any parent/guardian
is not available to receive their ward at the designed bus stop. The child will be brought back to the school.

IDENTITY CARDS:

All children must wear their identity cards daily, secured properly to their shirts left pocket.
Loss of I- card should be reported immediately and an application should be submitted in the office for the
issue of the duplicate I-card.

DRESS CODE:

Every student should be smartly dressed for the school in the prescribed school uniform. Wearing of school
tie, belt, ID card and well-polished black shoes (sweater, Jacket and blazer during winter) is compulsory.
All boys should sport a trimmed haircut at all times. The rule does not apply to those students who are bound
by religious laws. Girls should tie two plaits with oxford blue ribbons and wear a hair band; ponytails are not
allowed.
Application of nail polish, kajal, mehndi and wearing of oversized jewellery is not permissible in the school
All articles and other belongings such as bag and water bottle of the child must be neatly labeled with the
childs full name, class & section.

SUBMISSION OF BOOKS For Montessori students ONLY, Books with proper name label and cover, to
be submitted to the teachers on 4th April 2016.

MAINTENANCE OF BOOKS/NOTES BOOKS:

All books and notebooks must be neatly covered and labeled.
All pages in every notebook should be numbered and first page information must be complete and the index
must be regularly updated. Bookmarks are compulsory.
Children should not be allowed to tear pages from the notebooks. The value and importance of each paper
must be stressed upon.

WORKING DAYS
Montessori and class I and II : Monday Friday.
Class III till XII
: Monday Saturday (2nd and 4th Saturday closed).
PUNCTUALITY;

Every child must be punctual in coming to school.

Punctuality as a habit should be stressed upon at an early age. To imbibe this habit we request you to make
sure that your child reaches the school 10 minutes before the school starts and is picked up by the following
time.
Unless notified all Saturdays are holidays for the Montessori / Pre School and Pre Primary Wing
Montessori parents must reschedule the childs morning routine seven days prior to the childs first day in
school, to make him / her feel energetic and fresh so that he / she enjoys school. It always help to give due
toilet training to the child before joining the school.

ABSENTEEISM:

Please ensure 100% attendance of your ward. Leave-taking should be only in emergency/ during unavoidable
circumstances with prior permission from the Principal.
The school does not encourage the concept of short leave. Parents need to adhere to school timings. If the
child is not well, do not send him / her to school. No child will be allowed to leave the school premises during
school hours without prior written permission of the principal.
In case the child is absent from school for more than a day, parents must inform the school through phone or
e-mail followed by a written leave application.
To honour the children who have a 100% attendance throughout the year we have a special certificate for
them. Make sure your child is one of them.

FEE DEPOSIT:The fee should be deposited by cheque by 7 th of every Quarter i.e. 7th April, 7th July, 7th October &
10th January in favour of Ryan International School. After 10th, the fees will be accepted ONLY by
Demand Draft. No cash will be accepted, in any case.
The fee Deposit timings are 8:30am to 3:00pm (On all working Days. For any query please call at
0120-4290674.
The SCHOOL DIARY will be provided by the class teacher.

SCHOOL DIARY

The School Diary carries important guidelines and must be carefully read and adhered by the parents and
students.
The students need to carry the school diary every day.
Parents to ensure that the follow up pages Let Me Introduce Myself (Photograph in school uniform), Meet
My Parents (with photographs), Undertaking by the students / parents and Medical Examination forms needs
to be filled neatly; preferably in blue gel pen by the second week of April. The safety of our students is our
topmost priority.
Do deposit 06 passport size photographs of your ward (in school uniform) to the class teacher before 10th
of April.
Routine circulars and notices will be uploaded on myclassboard.com. Parents are advised to check/ login t
their childs ID on regular basis.

ASSESSMENT & REPORTS:

Assessment is an important part of the school curriculum and the academic session has three terms for Preschool
Reports are given at the end of each term on the basis of a continuous assessment of the work done by the
child over a term.

Parents must encourage children for 100% participation in all school competitions / sports activities and
extracurricular activities like Day Camp, Sports Day, Annual Day & Mont Graduation Ceremony etc..
School will conduct formative assessment, based on CBSE Board and the date sheet for FAs and SAs
for the session 2016-17 is as follows : ( FA 2 SA dates may vary in case of emergency holiday
declaration by Govt.)
