character, attitude and passion who will promote global harmony and peace. Students are trained
at a very young age towards incorporating a sense of responsibility, loyalty, team spirit, and
healthy competition to become graceful and dignified personalities.

 Building trustworthy relations with all.

mission.
Our Belief
The greatest human quest is to know what one must do in order to become a human being.
‘Atmanam Shudhi’ in our logo is a great oracle of Upnishad which means discovering your sacred
self. Here in R.E.D through yoga, meditation, sports and all its working methods and processes we
create the habits of self-awareness, self -regulation, self -motivation and selfishlessness which
prove stepping stones in their ultimate journey of becoming enlightened human beings.
Success is the sweet result of hard work combined with the desire to excel and unfailing
dedication.

Staff :
The most valuable resource that any school can have is its staff.
The school collectively has an enthusiastic and dedicated team of Teachers in the Senior
Secondary, Secondary, Middle and primary department. In addition, we have Non-Teaching and
Support staff. Their coordination with each other is what enables the school to function smoothly
and grow with new perspectives.

Infrastructure :

As many of you may know that R.E.D. School Jhajjar was established 20 years back on 13th April,
2002 with an aim of providing quality education of global standard. It was started in a rented
building with just 60 students. In these 20 years RED has progressed in leaps and bounds. Its own
campus was inaugurated in 2005 and today it proudly stands in front of you with a grand
infrastructure spreading in 5 Acres of land with______+ students.
The school building is equipped with all modern facilities like Smart Classrooms, Labs of different
subjects, library, resource rooms, music, dance and art room. Uninterrupted power and water
supply, CCTV surveillance, a well maintained fleet of____ buses providing comfortable and timely
transport facility. We have a State-of-the-Art Swimming pool & Sport complex, where our
students prepare to play at National level apart from State, District and Inter RED level
competitions. There is a facility of Indoor and Outdoor games like Swimming, Table Tennis,
Badminton, Judo, Chess, Football, Kho-Kho, Volley Ball, Athletics etc.

Infrastructure Development :

 Smart Boards/E-Learning facilities :

If I quote Vanessa Vega, a prominent Eutopia Research Analyst, “At the heart of effective
technology integration, technology offers opportunities to be more actively involved in the
learning experience”.
It is no more a secret that technology has very obvious potential to be a game changer in
the field of education. Its influence has reached the classroom and has changed the entire
scenario of the teaching learning process.
Surprisingly, the use of technology in the process does not only make the process effective,
but also much more enjoyable.
Thus, keeping in mind the significance of technology for gaining knowledge in the modern
classrooms, 11 more Smart Boards have been installed. With this installation, we have one
Smart Board for every class to provide access for e-learning.

 Newly renovated Air conditioned Library :

One of the most oft quoted writers is Francis Bacon and one of his most oft quoted
statements is about reading. He states, “Reading makes a full man;
Conference a ready man; and Writing an exact man." Reading is something that forms part
of the list of things to do for anyone who would like to qualify for being called educated.
George R.R. Martin says in ‘A Dance with Dragons’,- “A reader lives a thousand lives before
he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.”
The school understands fully the importance of reading for the students as also the
requirements on the part of the school to ensure that students eagerly indulge themselves
in the act of reading.
The school library has been renovated with the State-of-Art infrastructure. It has been
made air conditioned and more than 1200 books have been added to inculcate reading
habits among students.
Moreover, the teachers adopt various strategies to ensure that the students understand
absolutely the significance of reading and devote as much time as possible to the act itself.
Students have been made familiar with various aspects of the act of reading. Our students
have had practice in reading enough to realize the association between reading and
comprehension, and they are now in habit to read for extracting the maximum output from
the act of reading.
In every class, reading has not only started to be much more frequently executed activity
over the session but has also seen much evolution in terms of quality.

Student Welfare Schemes :

 The school awards merit scholarship for students. This year onwards, the school has
decided that every year “Scholarship Test” would be conducted and first three toppers in
classes 6th to 12th would get scholarship. The 1st topper would get 100% concession in
tuition fee and 2nd & 3rd topper would get 50% concession in tuition fee.
 The school has also modified the approach towards the meritorious sections in a very
systematic manner. Particular efforts have been undertaken to involve the students in
Higher Order efforts to face challenges bigger than Summative assessments. Students have
been familiarized with and are being prepared for the exams of the level of NTSE.

 SMS facilities :

The school has covered many more areas for SMS services like – Absenteeism, H.W., Non-
participation in classroom learning, Irregularities in work etc to ensure effective co-
operation, partnership & communication with parents.

Academic Achievements :

Excellence in academics is the hallmark of any good institution. Right from the beginning, RED has
nurtured a culture of hard work, “Never say Never attitude”, “No giving up spirit” among students
which has resulted into new records, breaking our own set records and setting new targets and
standards. It’s my privilege to enlist our achievement in the CBSE Board examination 2022. In class
XII,_____students appeared and all of them got through with flying colours. While______students
passed with 1st division and_____ distinctions were scored. Our 1st School Topper was______with
the highest score of____. Next in the line was the 2nd Topper who was_____ with an impressive
score of____. Where as the 3rd Topper was ________with_____. Really neck to neck competition
with the little margin.

In class 10th,____ students appeared and all qualified.(Details of toppers)

The world of the classroom and of learning has undergone both visible and invisible changes. The
processes of learning what we learn and how we learn is changing every day. We need to accept
certain shifts from an emphasis on providing content to providing skills from looking at the
classroom as the only point of learning to accepting that learning happens across life spaces, the
shifting equation between the relationship between teacher and students, parents and children.

RED also believes in the saying of Margaret Mead who said “Children must be taught how to think,
not what to think” and to enables this, our motto of Knowledge, Imagination and Innovation is
encouraged through a holistic approach. “TO MOTIVATE THE WEAK, TO ADDRESS THE AVERAGE
AND CHALLENGE THE GIFTED” is the teaching vision of our school.

Innovation is the change that unlocks new value that leads to betterment and success.
The School continues to strive towards innovation and the latest practices in the field of Pedagogy
are being continuously incorporated.

The academic year 2020 – 2021, faced a very challenging time which brought the world to a
complete halt with the Corona pandemic and with lockdown all over the Nation. This isolation
was unique and unprecedented event in our lives. It had become imperative to stay at home and
we had to decide as to how meaningfully we could utilize our time. In these hard times, we had
to maintain positivity and high morale.
Our teachers had to change to online teaching, requiring them to use various digital tools and
resources and implement new approaches to teaching and learning. I am grateful to have such
wonderful team of teachers. They stood up and made the Pandemic into a successful and fruitful
academic year.
‘ The learning of learners, Current trends of teaching and learning necessitates a regular updating
of teachers. Our teachers including me constantly strived to stay updated by attending various
virtual seminars , workshops and training programmes. We decided to post the pre recorded
sessions which included PPT’s, videos, audios etc. So the teaching did not stop. To teach remotely,
a classroom without students was a huge challenge for a teacher. This situation helped in
inculcating the habit of “Self Study” in students. We all had faced a completely unprecedented
crisis due to the spread of corona virus all around the world. However, this time had taught us
how to build foundations of resilience to face difficult events in future. Conducting exams was the
biggest challenge. Students were sent question papers through google forms/whatsapp and had to
solve them under the supervision of their parents . Virtual classrooms were also created through
paid versions of Zoom App to conduct the exams where teachers performed their duties
remarkable as invigilators. The school was run completely according to the academic planner of
the school. No compromise was made with the education of the children. “All work and no play
makes jack a dull boy” so after study time, students were asked to remain engaged in household
activities, reading books, making art/craft articles and also in doing physical exercises like
yoga/asanas at home. School assemblies were also conducted online to make students associate
with the almighty and to develop moral values and ethics.

We have always been open to innovations and changes that could ensure the better development
of our students. In the same directions, like every year, we introduced some new concepts,
practices and habits. The foremost of them is the development of a systematized system to ensure
particular and specialized stress upon the expansion of various subject skills. In this line, this year
foundational skills were focused upon in all the subjects. There has been a significant level of
research and effort devoted to offering the students a dedicated knowledge and ample practice of
language, scientific and mathematical skills.

This year Chrysalis Curriculum is introduced in the primary department . Chrysalis is leading a
fundamental reform in school education through its transformational programme, Thinkroom,
which challenges mediocre practices in the Indian educational ecosystem. Based on research,
Chrysalis has developed a programme that allows students to develop skills across domains
and through grades. Students will become independent learners who will be able to chart their
own progress in their learning. They will be motivated, engaged and resourceful. Learning and
teaching will become a joyful experience.

Curricular & Co-Curricular Activities :

"Everyone has inside of him a piece of good news. The good news is that you don't know that how
great you can be ". What you can accomplish! And what your potential is !". The school looks at
each learner as a unique "whole person" with inherent genius, special capabilities and unlimited
potential. By providing a conductive and encouraging environment the learners are mentored to
participate in a variety of intra and inter school activities and competitions. These help them not
only to show case their talents hone their skills but these also entail opportunities that lead to multi
dimensional growth of their physical, social intellectual and spiritual being.

Curricular Agenda :
R.E.D. always tries to foresee the future and keeps adopting the new technique and methods for
the betterment of its students. The coming year, our endeavour will be to continue to improve the
quality of the school systems and increase the standards in all aspects. Our areas of work and focus
will be –

a) Enhancing the Sports programme

b) Increasing Academic competence and performance
c) Skill Development Agenda for students
d) Enrolling and engaging the parent community widely and actively.
Putting more efforts on igniting the joy of learning

The system of tests conducted in the school has also been modified in a manner so as to
extract maximum benefit out of the effort put in by the students while facing the tests. The
calendar for the tests has been planned very particularly to provide equal practice to all the
concepts of each subject and the development of subject language alongside the preparation for
different exams.
