Vote of thanks

Respected Chief Guest of today’s Teachers Day celebration – Professor Dr.K


Erasi, Chairman of Indian Academy Educational Trust, Dr. T. Somesekar,
Honerable Secretary of Indian Academy Education Trust Mrs. Bharathi T and
other Distinguish Dignitaries, Heads of various Institutions in Indian Academy
Group.

Esteemed Guests and Special Invitees,

Respected Felicitated teachers, others members of the teaching staff and


Ladies and Gentlemen.

It’s my proud privilege to propose vote of thanks.

Teacher’s day is an occasion to submit our-self with resolve to this noble


profession, to this I would like to quote Hendry Adams “A teacher affects
eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops,

On this occasion, I express my deep, most sincere thanks and gratitude to the
Chief Guest –Professor Dr. K. Erasi, Former Professor and Chairman,
Department of Commerce and Management, Bangalore University, a teacher-
par-excellence – an astute leader and administrator, an eminent academician
of repute, for his gracious presence and impactful deliverance speckled with
useful words of rich experience and wisdom.

Thank you and thank you very much indeed sir,

My Thanks are due to Dr.T Somasekar, the Chairman, Indian Academy Group
of Institutions, who himself primarily a Life Science teacher and then a
successful edu- entrepreneur, for his valuable presence, motivation, steward
ship and all round support. Thank you sir,

My thanks to the Honourable Secretary of the Indian Academy Education Trust


in (absentia) for her blessings and support for all such celebrations.
Thank you madam.
My dutiful regards and thanks to all the Heads of institutions, the esteemed
invited Guests and Guest felicity. Thank you sirs and madam

It is occasion of joy and remembrance for our esteemed colleagues,

Who are felicitated today for their years of dedication to profession of


teaching and to our group of institutions. Thank you sir and madams

I fail in my duty if not acknowledge and thank, all our teachers who made us
what we are today, while thanking them; I also thank all the teachers who are
present here in large numbers.

My special thanks to the Principal of Indian Academy Pre University College.


Prof J Rajeshwari and the other members of the staff and also other
supporting staff of the group of institutions for their meticulous effort in
organising teachers’ day function year after year with utmost zeal and
enthusiasm.

I once again thank one and all,

Thank you very much.


Dinesh Kumar is a student of Final Year B.Com in
Indian Academy Evening College. He is an
International taekwondo athlete, He recently
won a Medal in International Taekwondo
Championship in December 2018 in Kolkata, also
won Bronze Medal at National Level Event in
Mumbai in October 2018. Besides having won
Gold Medals at State Level Championships.
He has brought a request through Mr Prasanna Gowda, Physical Education Director
that his achievement be recognised in Recognition Day of Indian Academy Degree
College Autonomous on 8th March 2019 and a scholarship amount be given as he is
supporting his education himself, working as taekwondo instructor in few school on
adhoc basis.

He is an alumnus of IAPUC.
Dinesh Kumar is a student of Final Year B.Com in Indian
Academy Evening College. He is an International
taekwondo athlete, He recently won a Bronze Medal in
International Taekwondo Championship in December
2018 in Kolkata, also won Bronze Medal at National Level
Event in Mumbai in October 2018. Besides having won
Gold Medals at State Level Championships.
