Anchor 1 (Male):
Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, respected teachers, parents, and our dear students. We warmly
welcome you all to our school's Krishna Janmashtami celebrations.

Anchor 2 (Female):
On this auspicious day, we have gathered here to celebrate the birth of Lord Krishna, the eighth avatar of
Lord Vishnu, who is an epitome of love, wisdom, and mischievousness.

Anchor 1:
Indeed, Krishna Janmashtami is not just a festival; it's a celebration of joy, devotion, and unity. And today,
we are going to experience all of that right here in our school.

Anchor 2:
Before we proceed with the festivities, let's invoke the blessings of Lord Krishna. I would like to invite
[Name of the Priest/Teacher] to perform the ceremonial lighting of the lamp.

[The priest/teacher performs the lamp lighting ceremony.]

Anchor 1:
Thank you for the divine invocation. Now, to set the stage for our cultural program, we have some
beautiful performances lined up. We will begin with a dance performance by our talented students,
depicting the playful and mischievous side of Lord Krishna.

[The dance performance takes place.]

Anchor 2:
Wow! What a spectacular performance! The energy and devotion of our students are truly praiseworthy.

Anchor 1:
Absolutely! And now, we have a melodious devotional song by our school choir that will fill our hearts
with devotion and love for Lord Krishna.

[The choir performs the devotional song.]

Anchor 2:
That was enchanting! Our students are truly gifted.

Anchor 1:
Before we move on, let's take a moment to appreciate the dedication and hard work put in by our
students, teachers, and parents to make this celebration a grand success.
Anchor 2:
Absolutely, and let's not forget the delicious Prasadam that awaits all of us after the cultural program.

Anchor 1:
Indeed! But before we indulge in the feast, let's not miss out on the most awaited part of our celebration
– the Dahi Handi.

Anchor 2:
Oh, yes! Dahi Handi is a traditional Janmashtami game where an earthen pot filled with curd is hung
high, and teams compete to break it. Let's call upon our brave participants for this thrilling event.

[The Dahi Handi event takes place.]

Anchor 1:
Well done, everyone! That was an exciting competition.

Anchor 2:
Now, as we come to the end of our program, let's remember the teachings of Lord Krishna – his wisdom,
love for humanity, and the path of righteousness.

Anchor 1:
Indeed. Krishna Janmashtami is not just about celebrating a historical event; it's about imbibing the
values and lessons Lord Krishna taught us.

Anchor 2:
We hope that today's celebration has filled your hearts with devotion and joy.

Anchor 1:
Thank you once again for joining us in this wonderful celebration. Let's end the evening by seeking the
blessings of Lord Krishna.

[Conclude with a prayer or a shloka dedicated to Lord Krishna.]
