Anchoring Script for Republic Day

Anchor 1: 28 states, 1618 languages, 6400 castes, 6 major religions, 6 ethnic groups,
1 country. This shows that despite having diverse culture, traditions, languages,
religions, we stand together as one. This shows our unity in diversity and we are
proud that we are Indians.

Namaskar everyone!

As the entire country is decorated in tricolor, we, Shri-ites, feel honored to celebrate
our 72th Republic Day on the virtual platform with all fervor and pride.

26th January holds an everlasting place in our national memory because it is the day
when modern India was born. It is on this day that we adopted our charter of
modernity, the Constitution. One of the biggest constitutions in the world.

Being living in a democratic republic, we have freedom in mind, faith in words, pride
in our heart and patriotism in our souls. And this has been possible only after
uncountable sacrifices of our freedom fighters. We owe a great thank you to all of
them and today’s presentation is a dedication to all our national heroes and freedom
fighters. We hope that you would like our efforts.

Anchor 2: Dance is an art and an expression, what cannot be said can be expressed. So
here is a beautiful dance performance by our Shri-ites, who will express their love for
the nation through the medium of the dance.

Anchor 2: Thank you for such an amazing performance. It was really amazing to
watch you all.

With this we have come to the end of today’s virtual celebration.

At the end, I would like to say that let’s not pass this Republic Day as any other
holiday. Instead look within and think that whether we are fulfilling our fundamental
duties or not. Let’s not forget the heroes who sacrificed their lives to bring up this
glorious day to India.

A hearty thank you for being with us in this virtual celebration and once again a very
happy republic day
