MATERIALS: Objects and surfaces/backgrounds that hold value and
significance. Make sure to bring more than enough materials. PROCEDURE: 1. Use objects provided or brought to class. Having objects that are well thought out, that vary in size, shape, color and texture tends to give you more options while working. 2. Carefully set the objects on, or move them across the scanner. Work to create compositions that add mystery to your photographs. 3. Once you have created 5-6 scans you are happy with, save them for editing. 4. Edit images so you have true lights and darks. Enhance colors or contrast to finish the photograph. You many need to make adjustments to specific areas to enhance the contrast and create points of focus. 5. Use the clone stamp or spot healing tool to remove unwanted dust or other imperfections from you photographs. 6. Please post 2-3 images to your website that function as a group.
