( On Euthanasia)

This is a current topic that the BBC News have

talked about, they presented this in a serious
tone.
The break down of how they presented it was
they focused in detail on the headline story.
They then talked about views and laws on
assisted dying.
Next a short interview with a Belgian
Paralympian Marieke Vervoort, talking
personally about how she will choose
euthanasia, but not yet.
Finally they concluded this feature with facts
and figures to do with this topic.

Secondary Research.
CH4 News did a feature on someone's personal story on wanting the
right to be able to die back in July 2013.
The breakdown of how this was presented is:
They inform the audience on the event/ ruling the court had decided
and talk a bit about Mr. Nicholsons background as well as the current
event he is involved in.
It then moves on to a interview with Mr.Nicholson solicitor acting, we
hear him talk about how he will not give up on the campaign and his
views on the event.

Secondary Research.
BBC Newsround has not done a news report on the subject I have
chosen for my news feature so I picked one with a just as
serious/hard news topic.
The breakdown of how BBC Newsround presented is:
The presenter does a brief piece to camera and it then goes to a
float (The name for a series of pictures when a presenter is talking
or interviewing a guest but you can't see them on the screen.)
through till the presenter ends on a question which then cuts away
to a presenter in the studio who uses graphics on screen to show
maps and to answer the question to inform the audience.
It then cuts back to a float where the presenter carries on informing
the audience & then finally ends of the anchor back in the studio.
