    INSTRUCTIONAL ROUTINES

    Routines beginning of class


    1- Write down todays lesson objective
    2- In a 5 sentence paragraph, write down your understandings of yesterdays lesson
    3- Complete a word search using vocabulary used in the lesson
    4- Respond to an intriguing, open ended question

    Routines for the end of class


    1- Write down the major concept you learned in today's lesson
    2- Ask students opinions about school events, world issues, sports, etc. in an
    informal survey
    3- Discuss favorite activity of today's class with a partner and share it with class
    4- Ask open ended questions to random students regarding lesson, a review of
    today's lesson main concepts.
