Maintaining mud pumps in an efficient operating condition by changing liner, piston,
seat valve, sizes progressively to permit pumping against greater pressure as depth
increases service and repairs fluid ends of pumps. Manifold valves and pressure relief
valves.
Dismantles and Rigs up drilling Rig and pick up & lay down BHA Rig components
when changing location after completion of well or when putting and ideal Rig back

Perform the drilling department's daily checklists, i.e. QHSE checks, mast/Derrick
inspection, choke and kill manifold set up, etc.
Calculate ton-miles on drilling line; maintain an accurate logbook and advise the Driller
and Assistant Driller on the need to slip and cut.
Maintain an organized drilling equipment store and tubular and subs inventory.
Maintain proper communication with the Driller, Assistant Driller, Tool pusher, and other
department heads.
Maintain accurate records of tubular and tool dimensions (i.e. internal and external
diameter, fish neck, and serial numbers).

Actively participate in pre-tour meeting with the drilling crew for all drilling operations.
Assist with the preparation of equipment.
Organize and supervise the drilling crews for all operations.
Assist in supervision of repairs on drilling and associated equipment.
Responsible to handles the equipment and supplies that are sent to the Rig .Also assistant in
general work round the rig. Responsible to check daily the condition of drilling tong, Slip,
Elevator, Spinner Hawk, cables(snubbing, makeup, breaking and torque lines) and report to
the Driller

Assist in running and cementing casing strings, running and retrieving BOPs and risers, and
other operations as directed by the Driller or Tool pusher.
Monitor mud systems and supervise solids control equipment and mud mixing operation.
Assist in the planning, organization and execution of rig move operations.

Job Description as a HSE Engineer:

Has overall management of the personal protective equipment of the ERT.

Permit to Work (PTW) System
Conduct Pre job meeting with Managers & crew to discuss the Safety measures &
Equipments status & selection

Familiar with Handling of Safety Equipments H2S Monitor, Gas Detector, Breathing
Apparatus, Fire Detection Systems & Fire Extinguisher

Performs monthly inspection on all built-in fire protection equipment available within
the area of responsibility [Fire Hose Cabinet / Fire Extinguisher etc.]
Act as an incident commander / team leader at the fire scene or incident area when
responded to any forms of emergencies (fire, rescue, confined space etc.).
Respond to all Fire Alarms within the area of responsibility. Check & Locate the
activated Smoke Detectors, Heat detectors, Fire Action Points and etc. during Fire
Alarms.
Assist & Help the Medical / Ambulance Team in an emergency medical rescue
operation.
Respond to all forms of emergencies (firefighting, medical, evacuation, & rescue
operation) within the Semi-Submersible Drilling Rigs, Deep Penuche, Platforms,
Modules, Buoy, and Confined Space etc.
Participate on all the trainings / drills conducted by the HSE Department.
Standby on areas where there is a high risk of flammable activity. Welding works at a
paint store and etc.
Conducts Lecture / training on basic fire dynamics, fire extinguisher etc. to the
workers of the company.
Perform weekly and quarterly physical fitness test.
Has overall control and supervision over the ERT when the officer in charged is on
vacation leave.
Has full operational authority over emergency activities of the ERT when the officer in
charged is on leave.
