Ideas for use:

1. Print pages back-to-back for 20 doublesided cards, and/or print cards single-sided for
a deck of 40 cards.
2. Have children lay out just apples or just
bananas, in order from least to greatest. Flip
over cards, if double-sided, to show all the odd
or all the even numbers from 1 to 20. If using
single-sided cards, have children place the
number card beneath each apple or banana
card instead of flipping. Count in odds or
count in evens. Repeat, using all 20/40 cards.
Can they find all the odd/ even cards?
3. Hold up cards one at a time. Have children
count how many apples or bananas. Is this
number odd or even? Once experienced, hold
up number cards instead (odd or even?).
