Theory
Language study at the elementary level assists in the development and
refinement of both analytical and communication skills. Our work with
grammar and syntax helps to further aid the child in finding the order in
their language. Bringing awareness to the function of different words
enables the young person to have greater command over their language,
expressing their thoughts clearly and communicating effectively.

Optional Additional Materials

Red cardstock, glue/double-sided tape

Assembly without cardstock backing

• Print pages 8 through 12 single-sided on 8.5 x 11 inch paper in colored
ink.
• Cut along outside of red boarders

Assembly with cardstock backing

• Print pages 3 through 7 single-sided on 8.5 x 11 inch paper in colored ink.
• Cut along the gray borders.
• Center each page on an individual sheet of red 8.5 x 11 inch cardstock
and adhere with a glue stick or double-sided tape.
• Laminate and cut, leaving a laminate edge.
