Synopsis:
The word innovation is thrown around a lot in education, but what does it really
mean, and why is it important in our schools today? The focus of this chapter is
to define the term innovation, give examples of what it is (and isnt), and start the
conversation on how we need to embrace this notion to create better
opportunities for learners.

focus is on defining the notion of the Innovators
Mindset, and what it means for education, and why it is
