Activity Risk Rating

Tripping on wires is a risk when filming

my sequence as there are no floor wire
covers this means that there is a higher
risk of tripping.

All the cast and crew and

potentially members of
the public are at risk.

Tripping

HIGH. To prevent this

I could put yellow
tape, or very viable
tape, on the wire so
these is more
visibility.

During the production of my piece there is

a possibility that the cast and crew could
become dehydrated.

All the cast and crew are

at risk.

Dehydration

MEDIUM. The cast

and crew should
hopefully be drinking
water during the day
and will be
sufficiently hydrated.
To prevent this from
happening I will bring
in a couple of bottles
of water in case
anybody needs a
drink. We will also
have a lunch break in
which people can
rehydrate.

A risk while I am out on my shoot would

be that someone could be hit by a car as I
am going to be filming near a road.

The people exposed to

this risk would be my
crew, Imogen and Oscar
they are going to be at
risk as they will be the
closest to the road when
filming.

Cars

LOW. This is an
unlikely risk as the
crew are fully able to
move out of the way
when a car comes and
they are roads safe.

An other risk would be Cyclists. Cyclists

are a risk as they are everywhere in
Cambridge and they can be quite selfish
and rude. there is a risk of cyclist riding
into the cast and crew members.

The people at risk to this

would be everyone
involved as we are all
going to be on location.

Cyclists

MEDIUM. This hazard

is a medium risk as
there are loads of
cyclist in Cambridge
and they are quite
obnoxious.

There is also a risk of the equipment being

stolen while we are on location. for
example if we are filming a soot and the
camera is in plain sight there is a risk of a
civilian stealing it as they run or cycle
past.

All crew members are at

risk because any of the
equipment could be
stollen while on location.

Theft of Equipment

LOW. There is a low

risk of this a
happening as most
people don't go out in
the centre of
Cambridge with the
intent of stealing
school equipment. In
addition the crew will
be looking out for
things like that and
will not leave any
equipment
unattended.
