Project Theme One: Created and Loved by God

The students will create a collection of 7-10 items that represent their life journeys as unique
persons whom God created and loves forever, and make an oral presentation to the teacher about
the items.

[My Journey]
The collection of items is to include the following:
A container for the items (e.g., shoe box, cloth/paper bag, hat box) that is decorated with
pictures that represents their interests, activities, hobbies, etc.
One item from each of the following categories:
1. Bring in images/object that represents Gods Everlasting Love. This can include drawings or
words associated with everlasting love. (e.g., members of their family, friends, place that is
representative of Gods Creation).
2. Letter to Mr. Kosta. Letter related to the importance of Forgiveness/Conscience/Love (Can
include pictures)
3. Item or image that represents someone in their lives they respect. Why?
4. Item that represents a person who has helped them on their journey. (Family member, teacher,
friend, grandparent)
5. An item that represents someone who has influenced them in their lives. (Friend, parent,
teacher)
6. An item that represents their faith journey of learning to know God, to pray, and to be the
people God created them to be.
7. Two items:
- One item representing who they were when they were younger.
- One representing something about them as they are now.
Bonus: (Initiative)- at least two or more items that represent their life journeys.

[Oral Presentation]
The students should be prepared to present their collection to the teacher in an oral presentation,
and explain how the items express aspects of their life journeys.
