Student Learning Outcomes


Upon successful completion of the course, students should be able
to:
1. Develop mathematical models of Single and Multi degrees of
freedom dynamical systems,
2. Calculate natural frequency and damping ratio of simple
vibrating systems,
3. Determine time responses of Single and Multi degrees of
freedom systems undergoing free/forced vibrations,
4. Deal with base excitation and rotating imbalance in machines,
5. Understand vibration measurement techniques.
