Description of how to implement in the class:
The equipment needed in the classroom in order to use Brainpop effectively would
be a computer and projection screen for the teacher to use. We would also need to
have individual laptops or Ipads for the students, or they could bring their own
technology. I would introduce this activity by giving the students a background on
what is expected of them, along with some information about the French and Indian
War. The students would watch the video as a class on the projection screen. Then,
they would be allowed to take the quiz on their own devices and do one of the print

off activities from Brainpop.
I will assess my students by viewing their scores and then taking the quiz as a
class, so that students who may not have done well can see what the correct
answers are. I will then differentiate instruction based on their quiz scores and their
answers to the print off activity. This will help me to see if the instructional software
was efficient for my students, or if I should try a different type of instructional
software.
* Examples of common instructional models include whole group, teacher-led, student
