CONCLUSION

PHILIPPINE HISTORY
Philippine History begun with the arrival of
the first humans using rafts or boats at least
67 000 years ago as the 2007 discovery of
Callao Man suggested.Negrito tribes inhabited
the isles.Groups of Austronesians later
migrated to thre islands.
Eventually various groups
developed,separated into hunter-gatherer
tribes,warrior societies,petty plutocracies and
maritime-oriented harbor principalities which
eventually grew into
kingdoms,rajahnates,Kedatuans,huangdoms
and sultanates.These small nations were
either greatly influenced by the Indian Hindu
religion,language ,culture,literature and
philosophy from India through many
campaigns from India including South East
Asia.

PHILIPPINE POLITICS

The politics of the Philippine take place in an


organized framework of a
presidential,representative,and democratic
republic whereby the president is both the
head of state and the head of government
within a pluriform multi-party system.This
system revolves around three separate and
sovereign yet interdependent branches:the
legislative branch,the executive branch,and
the judicial branch.Executive power is
exercised by the government under the
leadership of the president.Legislative power
is vested in both the government and the two
chamberCongress:the Senate(the upper
chamber)and the house of Representative(the
lower chamber).Judicial power is vested in the
courts with the Supreme Court of the
Philippines as the highest judicuial body.

PHILIPPINE GOVERNANCE

Governance in its broadest sense relates to


the quality of national and local
government,including the
executive,legislative and the judicial
branches.Good governance in East Asia is
often cited as a critical factor in economic
development.In the Philippines,everyone from
the president to the poorest citizen knows
that the quality of governance has great room
for improvement.
DUE PROCESS OF LAW

A fundamental,constitutional guarantee that


all legal proceedings will be fair and that one
will be given notice of the proceedings and an
opportunity to be heard before the
government acts to take away ones
life,liberty,or property.Also a constitutional
guarantee that a law shall not be
unreasonable,arbitrary or capricious.
