Dr. George Djorgovski- Astronomy in the
Time Domain: From Killer Asteroids to
Giant Black Hole
Dr. S. George Djorgovski is a Professor
of Astronomy and a Co-Director of the
Center for Advanced Computing Research
at Caltech. Director of the Center for
Data-Driven Discovery and the Director
of the Meta-Institute for Computational
Astrophysics, the first professional
scientific organization based in virtual
worlds.
Dr. Djorgovski is currently the author and co-author of several hundred
scientific publications, covering the fields of astrophysics, cosmology,
and computational science, as well as a celebrated international
speaker. The asteroid 24421 Djorgovski is named in his honor.

Dustin Riggs- The Force is Real More or Less
Dustin Riggs is a University of Missouri graduate with a degree in Graphic design. He is the founder of
Spectre5Zero, a company that does industrial design and fabrications for the Aerospace industry and beyond.
With his pilots licence, he works as a test pilot for experimental planes and engines and is currently pursuing an
engineering degree.

Swetha Sundaram is a senior at Santa
Susana High School researching Tumor
Growth in chick embryos as part of a
research project started at UC Irvine
Cosmos Program.
Christine Reusch - Engineering and
Creating a Sustainable Future
An engineer for the City of Los Angeles,
Christine Reusch has worked with the
City of Los Angeles for over twenty years.
Mrs. Reusch is also involved with Los
Angeles Mayor Eric Garcettis back to
the basics program, identifying drivers
and metrics throughout the Public Works,
Bureau of Engineering. While working
in the private sector, she worked at the
Getty Conservation Institute designing
hermetically sealed cases for the storage of mummies in Egypt. The
cases she helped to create hold artifacts in several museums around
the world preserving historical antiquities for all current and future
generations to enjoy. Mrs. Reusch recently completed an Engineering
Management, which included sustainability studies at the Technical
University Ingolstadt in Ingolstadt, Germany. She is a Board Member
for the Society of Women Engineers, Ventura Chapter.
Trent Siggard- Creativity with Drones
Trent Siggard graduated Santa Susana
High School in 2012 and is a Product
Manager at Yuneec USA, an international
drone manufacturer. Trent also works as
a professional digital media photographer
and uses his talents to develop and
market new aerial systems.
Shahrukh Shaikh- Alternative Energy:
Breakthrough and Results
Shahrukh Shaikh is a senior at Santa
Susana High School researching the
effects of biodiesel fuel on the economy.
