carbonara

1 pound 1 cup freshly 200g shortcut


INGREDIENTS

dry spaghetti grated Parmesan bacon rashers

2 large eggs 4 garlic cloves, 1 handful fresh


finely chopped parsley, chopped

sea salt freshly ground


black pepper

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the


pasta & cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until theres still
a slight bite to the noodle or al dente.
DIRECTIONS

2. While the noodles cook add the bacon to a large skillet.


Cook until crisp. Add the garlic then saute for one minute
more, until fragrant. Turn off the heat.
3. In a bowl combine & stir the eggs & Parmesan .
4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the bacon & garlic.
Stir in the Parmesan & egg mixture adding with that a bit of
the water that the pasta cooked in until the sauce has
reached the consistency you like.
5. Finish with more grated Parmesan and chopped parsley ,
serve immediately .
