Louisiana State University Teaching Enhancement Fund Grant, March 2009
Received a grant sponsored by the LSU Faculty Fellows Program and Campus Federal Credit
Union for reimbursable expenses associated with participation in teaching enhancement
programs or conferences. Funds were used to travel to Seattle, WA for the ACRL 2009
National Conference.

UNC-Chapel Hill Health Sciences Library Award of Excellence, March 2008


Honored with this prestigious award, given annually to one staff or faculty member, in
recognition of exceptional contributions and achievements while employed by the UNC Health

board of the Association’s research journal (Journal of Financial Counseling and
Planning) to increase the journal’s visibility and sphere of influence.

This work was published as a non-peer reviewed essay in the peer-reviewed journal
Library Student Journal, a publication from the University of Buffalo. Since 2006, this
journal has gained recognition among LIS graduate students and faculty members,
publishing scholarship from the rising stars of the library world.
