Im passionate about The Salvation Army, and Im proud of what were doing in Napa,
especially with the new culinary academy. Were taking an organization thats been here
for 130 years and giving it some new relevancy.
- Rick Osgood, Napa Corps Board Member
In late September, ground was broken on a new project at our Camp Del Oro in the Sierra Foothills. This
endeavor was made possible by Northern California native and nature lover Stephen Ball, who bequeathed
The Salvation Army $7.2 million in his will. We expect completion of the project in Summer 2017.
This endeavor marks the fruition of a $20 million master plan for Campa plan 14 years in the making.
3,929 acres were burned. Nearly 300 homes and buildings were destroyed.
Thanks to our donors and volunteers, this is a story of strength, rebuilding, and neighbors helping
neighbors. We were able to come together and provide . . .
