The ability to imagine, in detail, is important for anyone who creates. I keep in practice by imagining 2-
digit colored numbers on a differently colored background. Those numbers rotate on a vertical axis, so
they momentarily appear backward. I do this exercise while I am counting off the seconds while
stretching. Working this into my routine means that it will happen. This ability, like any other, does get
easier with practice.

My goals with this list were brevity, accuracy, and completeness - in that order. Due to the
continuing emphasis on brevity, I suggest that if one is concerned about some condition that, for
instance, runs in the family, click on the embedded hyperlinks! There is usually always more
information beyond the single word that provides the link.
In vitro vs in vivo: Most of the studies cited here are in vitro tests. These are usually done in a
petri dish. While in-body (in vivo) treatment effectiveness can be implied by such methods,
many such leads are dead-ends due to toxicity or other confounding factors. In the Antifungal
section, for instance, most entries indicate effectiveness on Candida, but only a few on
candidiasis.
I get my turmeric from a middle eastern market at the corner of Melrose and Hacienda, in Vista,
California, USA. I cook this stuff up in a pot (it tends to stain the pot) along with high-phenol
spices (also helps preserve cognitive ability) that I get in bulk: cloves, cumin, allspice, and
coriander. I get those spices whole and grind them in a little coffee mill just prior to use - fresher
that way. I also add tomato paste (improves the taste), coconut oil (makes the fat soluble stuff
available), then, after it cools, I stir in a bit of phytosterol powder.
About me:
I, Otto Hunt, am an electrical engineer who enjoys the benefits of ADD (I dont need structure -
you cant shake the world in a structure!) and mild autism (more, more, more, more, more,

know that such does not happen in isolation. So that interest of mine grew to encompass all of
preventive health.
