Zany describes very silly people and behaviors. If you break into a bad, old-guy
imitation of hip-hop, you might be trying too hard to be zany.
There's an old character in comedies from the 15th through the 19th centuries
who always had the Italian name Gianni, or Giovanni, another form of which
was "Zanni" from which we get the adjective zany. Just as there are good
clowns and kind of scary, weird clowns, zany describes both truly funny and
laughable people and things, as well as foolish, or ludicrous, attempts at being
funny. Something zany makes people laugh, unless it's weird zany and just
makes them cringe.
Personality trait:
When we talk about products which can be marketed to such type of customers,
they like to buy the every product which are of funky type. Mostly, children are
having a craze to use such funky products including their toys, clothes,
footwear, educational products etc. Not only children but elder people are also
like to buy such products, like their funky t shirts and other clothes, casual shoes
which have a crazy look, goggles etc and so on.
A good marketing strategy should be drawn from market research and focus on
the right product mix in order to achieve the maximum profit potential and
sustain the business. The marketing strategy is the foundation of a marketing
plan.
The market segment is zany customers who use the funky products.
Our target market in this segment can be Children and Teenagers.
Because they are the bigger customers who use such funky products.
Children use funky toys and other things whereas teenage generations are
use funky products in their fashion full life. They are most like to buy
every fashionable product whose look is crazy, funky etc.
We have to choose targeting strategy with lot of consideration. We have to
involve the consumers in all phases of product development and buying
process. We have to understand their preferences before adopting targeting
strategy.
While creating a market targeting plan, ensure that it is in line with the
social and legal policies and sensitivity of the markets. For example, there
was one issue arose regarding god and goddess pictures prints on clothes
of one model during fashion show in Australia, the event has hurts every
Hindu people. So such kind of over limit products should not be there.
