Calculating Blended Learning Activities in a Module

Taylors University (through e-Learning Academy) has prepared an exclusively designed template to assist academics to understand & calculate blended learning hours through various F2F & e-
learning activities in and / or outside classrooms. For accuracy purpose, the blended learning hours are calculated based on the students learning time (SLT). Preparation time for the activities
by the academics is not regarded as blended learning.

To achieve the targeted minimum 30% of blended learning activities in the curriculum, the suggested (minimum) hours required for a module are as below. This template is to be used
concurrently with the following documents from the University:
Summary of Information on Each Subject / Course / Module MQA document (obtainable from Module Leader / Stream Coordinators / Programme Directors of the respective Schools / Divisions);

Blended Learning Calculation template.
