chemical zone at Kurukumbh will have an
engineering zone over 1,500 acres of land
which is already in possession. Another
engineering zone will be developed at Jejuri Units Supply Rental Availability

acquisition process is in progress.
Maharashtra government reduced the number of permissions required for setting up industries from 77 to
36, which will further go down to 26. This attracted 39 industries in the state with the investment of Rs
23,000 crore.

Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has mopped up Rs 118 crore from the scheme to give discount in penalty
on property tax. The scheme, offering up to 75 percent concession to defaulters on the penalty amount, is
likely to benefit over 2.72 lakh property owners in the city.

Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) plans to take the help of urban planning and finance
experts for the implementation of development projects in public-private partnership over the next one year.
Most of these projects are under the Swachh Bharat Mission and Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban
Transformation (AMRUT).

Bengaluru-based Prestige Group is planning a Information Technology Park in Pune across the six acre land
parcel owned by BU Bhandary Builders with a willingness to spend Rs 240 crore.

skewed towards East Pune (Wagholi, Kharadi and Hadapsar) due to IT/ITeS and Industrial
establishments.
Majority of new supply in Q1, 2016 is slated towards the suburban areas of the city, which include
Pirangut, Undri, Baner and Chikhali.
Most of the new projects launches consist of medium number of units ranging anywhere between
250 400 units per project.
Interestingly, unlike other cities, Pune witnessed significant launches of compact homes with nearly
28 percent projects comprising of 1BHK units.
