    As stated previously for drill string


    loads up to 115 tons can be used
    drill pipe slips Type DU having
    length of gripping with insets of 12.
    For heavier strings it must be used
    SDU (or RD) type slips gripping 16
    length in the combination with pin
    drive system only.

    inserts have better gripping with
    less possibility of slipping DC.
