I. RESEARCH PROJECT/STUDY TITLE
A Proposed Airport Terminal in Olongapo City

BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY: (refers to the overview of the

project discussing the factors that have led to the
conceptualization of the problem).
An airport is an aerodrome with facilities for flights to
take off and land. Airports often have facilities to store
and maintain aircraft, and a control tower. An airport
consists of a landing area, which comprises an aerially
accessible open space including at least one operationally
active surface such as a runway for a plane to take off or
a helipad, and often includes adjacent utility buildings
such as control towers, hangars and terminals. Larger
airports may have fixed-base operator services, airport
aprons, taxiway bridges, air traffic control centres,
passenger facilities such as restaurants and lounges,
and emergency services.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: (refers to the problem, both

general and specific, which the research proponent hopes to
solve or offer solutions to).
The general objective of the research is to describe and
elaborate the problem in Olongapo City. The research seeks
to answer the following questions: 1.) How is the airport
helps the people in the said area? 2.) What makes the
airport more innovative and more organize? 3.) Do people in
the area need airport in that area?
 II. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY: (refers to the contribution of
the study to either a. department b. school c. immediate
outside community d. industry e. government f.
environment g. society in general).
The finding of the study will redound to the benefits of the
society considering the airport as an important role for the
people to travel and come around.

III. SCOPE AND DELIMINATION: (refers to the scope or inclusive

frame/s of reference as well as limitation/s of the
study).
The propose study is mainly concern about airport and
limited only in Olongapo City. The proposal like this is to
make an improvement of the area for the users that will
consider as their center of arrival of the city. Also the
study aimed to have a good image to the society to make the
users more comfortable. So the main agenda of the research
is to make a questionnaire that will provide the usefulness
of the proposal project for the development of Olongapo City
and make their society more aware of what happening in the
world.

A Proposed Convention Center in Iba Zambales

II. BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY: (refers to the overview of the

project discussing the factors that have led to the
conceptualization of the problem).
A large civic building or group of buildings designed for
conventions, industrial shows, and the like, having large
unobstructed exhibit areas and often including conference
rooms, hotel accommodations, restaurants, and other
facilities. Meetings, Incentives, Conference and Exhibitions
are today becoming an important segment of the tourism
industry. Conventional center is most recommended building
for some purposes for every location and makes the
outstanding needs of the society. In a populous area, we
believe that convention center is more likely to build for
any activities that may encounter. Ultimately, convention
center spaces that reflect the citys culture and sense of
community result in a more authentic experience for
visitors. Gone are the days of walking into a convention
center and feeling that you could be in any city in the
world. These modern spaces are unique and offer visitors a
taste of the place they have traveled to.

III. STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM: (refers to the problem, both

general and specific, which the research proponent hopes
to solve or offer solutions to).

convention center in Zambales rather than this proposal? 2.)
do you think it will help the society and people to build
this proposal? 3.) what makes you believe that convention
 center is better in the near future for us?

For the government, this helps the government to have
comfortable convention for their meetings and other
activities. Public users, this may help them to consider the
proper usefulness of the convention. For the society, it
gives an improvement for the town for having this building.
For the environment, it makes the town more populous than
others. For the future researcher, this helps them to have a
guide for them to come up with this research.

V. SCOPE AND DELIMINATION: (refers to the scope or inclusive

frame/s of reference as well as limitation/s of the
study).
The proposal project is mainly concern about on convention
center and it is limited in the part of Iba Zambales. This
kind of proposal is to make an improvement of the town to
have them a good image for other near towns, and for them to
make more population for the town in the near future. Also
this proposal aim to make a sustainable yet innovative as it
build for the future developer. So the main agenda of this
proposal is to come up with a research of the town and site
and make a questionnaire to make it useful for the said
research and make the people to be aware for the environment
that we need to improve sometime for we cant be in the
last.
