Musical Theatre Camp

This summer, Oasis Arts will have its fifth Musical Theatre Camp! Children
entering grades 3-9 are invited to attend the two week session in which they will
learn acting, singing, and dancing for the Big Stage. Students will focus on
characterization, projection, singing, and much more as they work together to put
on a full-length musical. This class is taught multi-level. Whether your child has
been in our productions before, or just admired from the audience, now is his or
her chance to gain more experience! It is not necessary to be an experienced
singer, dancer or actor to participate in this fun and exciting class- so sign up,
have fun, and dream big!

If you are interested in sending your child to our camp, please fill out the
registration form. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please
register early, as there is only one session this summer. Upon registering, you will
receive an email confirming attendance with further registration instructions.

Camp runs Monday through Friday, 9:00 am 3:00 pm. This year, we will be
held at a new location: Melody Lane Performing Arts Studio! We will have large
dance studios to spread out and perform! In fact, one room along would fit all 50
students! There will be no before or after-care available.

Who: Students entering grades 3-9

What: Musical Theatre Acting Camp, leading up to a one-night performance of a

full-length musical: High School Musical, JR.

The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians and Skater Dudes all find their cliques. Basketball team captain
and resident jock, Troy, discovers that the brainy Gabriella, a girl he met singing karaoke on his
ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. Although many students resent the threat posed to the
"status quo," Troy and Gabriellas alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well.

Where: Classes to be held at Melody Lane Performing Arts Studio,

75 Mid Cape Ter #1, Cape Coral; Show at Ida Baker High School

When: June 19th- June 30th, 2017, Monday Friday from 9:00 am- 3:00 pm

Performance date: Thursday, June 29th, 6:30 PM

Cost: $250 for full two weeks

HOLD HARMLESS RELEASE

My signature below indicates that I release the Oasis Arts Summer Camp program and Melody Lane PAC, and any persons connected with said
Theatre and/or City, from blame and responsibility in case of accident or injury incurred during the operation of these classes. There is no
medical insurance coverage included in my registration fees. By participating in these programs, I assume my own medical insurance
responsibilities. I also agree to the refund policy: refunds are available only if cancelled four weeks prior to the camp dates. I understand
that I must be present by 3:00 PM as there is no after-hours childcare available.
